JOB DESCRIPTION
Under supervision, the individual is expected to reach expected daily production goals. Each team member must be willing to train and gain experience in cut flower production.
· Make bouquets and/or arrangements as per specification of supervisor, by ensuring proper colour combination and design of item being processed.
· “Break down” trucks, stock product neatly and carefully into the Fresh Cut department coolers.
· Bring product out to the “floor” to keep production moving steady.
· Work/Move product in the “Cooler” area.
Co-Operation
· Assist other employees in daily tasks.
· Maintain a well-organized work area. (i.e. sweeping, empty garbage, set up of work area.)
· Understand and apply knowledge of automated line and its functionality.
· Assist in all areas of production as needed.
· Assist in training new employees or as required.
· Treat others in respectful manner.
Accountability
· Two-way communication to ensure consistency.
· Other duties as required.
Working Conditions
· Work is normally performed in the Fresh Cut floor/cooler areas.
· Rotating schedule based on the needs of the department
· Constant change in temperature, which could be undesirable.
· Full workweek with overtime when needed.
· Weekends and holidays required when necessary to meet business/customer requirements.
